Hello everyone, the wait is over! Today I am finally announcing the release of MD Gacha Machine 4.0! *insert applause here*

So unless you have been living under a rock you should know that Linden Lab has made gacha machines legit again and as soon as it happened I was literally flooded by your requests to re-enable the MD Gacha Machine Script.

Unfortunately, it was easily said than done as the MD Gacha Machine Script – retired in 2021 – was relying on a very old and outdated version of the MD Labs backend, which was dramatically different from what it is now. In other words: the old Gacha Machine Script from 2021 was not working anymore.

So I’ve put myself to work and I have re-written the MD Gacha Machine Script trying to keep all the features you all loved from the previous version but also including new perks; MD Gacha Machine Script 4.0 is more complete than ever and fully compatible with the new MD Labs backed, taking complete advantage of all the potentialities. You will find all the features you loved, such as the customizable rares percentage, the profit split with up to two more avatars other than the owner, the special item reward after a custom number of pulls, but also some new features such as discount and group mode. Moreover, the dedicated website has been completely re-written and updated as well, including tons of bug fixes and improvements aimed to make your life easier: as usual you will find support for events and presets, as well as managers and blacklist and a lot of other features.

But rewriting and revamping the gacha machine script also gave me the chance to plan a way to make the product more substainable than how it was in the past: gacha machines are a ‘fast’ game where several pulls are performed quickly and in a very short amount of time and it requires a powerful and fast backend in order to be able to process each pull in the shortest time possible. Powerful and fast always means costly.

For this reason I have decided to release the MD Gacha Machine Script in two different variants, which will hopefully cover all your personal use cases. Whether you are a small store or a big one, you should be able to find the version which will better suit your needs:

• MD Gacha Machine Script (basic): includes all the features you all know and loved, including rares percentage, splits and also the new ones such has discount but it offers a limited set of tools through the MD Labs Online Services website. Features like events/rounds, presets, managers, multiple machines setup as well as advanced statistics are not included in this version.
• MD Gacha Machine Script (advanced): this version includes all the features of the basic one and provides all the tools through the MD Labs Online Services website, including events/rounds, presets, managers, multiple machines setup, advanced statistics – such as top players and last active players – and much more.

Whilst the basic version of the MD Gacha Machine Script is provided as a one-time-only purchase, the advanced version requires also a commission-fee which is applied to each pull and is equal to the 2% of the pull price.

MD Gacha Machine Script has been created with flexibility in mind: you can use any mesh item as gacha simply by dropping the script inside it and clicking to setup; in addition to that, both basic and advanced packs include three different meshes (1 LI each) which are ready to be used as gacha machines: the user will just have to rez the desired mesh version, drop the MD Gacha Machine Script inside along with the prizes and click the machine to proceed with the setup.
