Hello everyone, today I am sharing a few news regarding the MD Vendor System, let’s start!

First news is for the ones whom integrated the SL Marketplace with MD Vendor System to be able to store SL Marketplace purchases inside MD Vendor System: the first and very old web-hook url used to tie together the SL Marketplace and MD Vendor System is going to be disabled on October 1st, 2026. Before the retirement day I invite all of you whom integrated the SL Marketplace with MD Vendor System to double-check which version of the web-hook url is using. The simplest way to check is to login your MD Vendor System web page, look under the “store management” tab for a “SL Marketplace integration” entry and click on the “manage” link. Then look for the “ANS Version” entry: if it is saying you’re already using the latest version you are done, otherwise it will be necessary to update the web-hook url as explained here.

Second news is for the ones whom are still using the non-subscription based version of MD Vendor System: starting from October 1st, 2026 when setting up new vendors as client (satellite), those will not able to connect to servers running MD Redelivery Terminal Script 3.0.6 or prior. This news is following the (very slow) retirement of all the MD Redelivery Terminal Script prior to version 3.0.7, which is the only one that will keep working for non-subscription based vendors. Don’t panic: vendors already connected as client to servers running version 3.0.6 or below will keep working, this change will only affect newly created vendors. If you are still using devices with MD Redelivery Terminal Script 3.0.6 or prior consider to update those devices as soon as possible: click on one of those device and hit the “Update” button from the Owner Menu to receive the package containing the latest version available for non-subscription based users. Once unpacked just replace the old script with the MD Redelivery Terminal Script 3.0.7 and don’t forget to set the terminal active again.

Third and last news for today is for everyone using the MD Vendor System and specifically for the ones using the subscription-based version: during the month of August the system had some annoying hiccups which caused intermittent service disruption and lot of stress to many of you. Several actions have been taken immediately and lot of work has been done to fix the causes of the hiccups and make sure it will not happen again. Again, I want to apologise for all the trouble that the hiccups have caused to you and in addition announce a little payback operation: all of you having a running MD Vendor System subscription during the month of August will receive a free week with your next renewal. There is no expiration to this, so whether your next renewal will be tomorrow or in a few months, you will receive the free week regardless. I know it’s not much but it’s my way to thank you all for your constant support and patience when things do not work as they should.
